HOW DID YOU GET STARTED DOING THIS TYPE OF WORK?

People would always compliment my outfits or roommates would ask me to help them pick out the perfect outfit for a date. I was always consulted in wedding shopping, and I completely transformed my husband’s style and he feels more confident than ever! He always receives compliments wherever he goes because of the things I’ve chosen for his particular personality and body type.

WHAT TYPES OF CUSTOMERS HAVE YOU WORKED WITH?

I’ve worked with a variety of clients, men and women off all different ages, body types, and personalities. They walk away feeling confident and ready to rock the world! My clients wear so many hats and I’m happy to help them do that by finding comfortable, classy, versatile pieces that are good quality but don’t break the bank. I love to learn and grow from the diversity of style preferences.

What do you enjoy about the work you do?

I believe in empowering yourself so you can empower those around you. I believe in confidence. I believe in smiling at strangers. I feel like I make the world a better place by  helping people discover their style and feel more confident. That’s what make me a different type of stylist. I ask the hard questions like “What are your lifetime goals?” not just “Where do you like to shop?” I want to help you have a presentable and put together look that reflects your everyday life.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I will shortly receive a Fashion, Menswear, and Personal Stylist Certification. I am also in the process of receiving my MBA.

How does your business stand out?

We are saturated with “Influential” people that subconsciously effect the way we need to speak, dress, act, and live. These people will dictate what you do if you don’t stand true to what you love. I know this seems contradictory since I pick out what people wear for a living, but I like to give leverage and help my clients discover what they love. I never recommend that someone throws out an entire wardrobe just to get one look.

Don’t get me wrong- I love trends and fashion week and Vogue, and I especially love wearing those pieces crafted with pride that anomalous artists envision us humans to wear, but at the end of the day, I have to be confident enough in my own skin and who I am as a person before I can invest in fashion. Fashion to me reflects my personality and uniqueness, it doesn’t mask it.
